Moral Decisions on "THE BRIDGE"

For me, moral decisions have never been easy. I mean, if it was between good and bad, and I knew the difference, then I'd choose the path of good. However, sometimes, it's not so easy, and sometimes, it's not just black and white. And that's when one has trouble, even one such as myself. For instance, I used to take CCD. But it was getting really annoying. We had all these meetings and rediculous classes and such. I had two years to go until I make confirmation, and I skipped them. I dropped out of the course. I wasn't getting anything out of it, and since one is allowed to get married in a church without making confirmation, and the only benefit was the ability to be a godfather, I chose to drop out of the course. I figure it'd be better to have to take a three or four week course when I'm an adult and can tolerate it, instead of wasting time and effort on it when I could be using that time and effort towards something else. After all, I'm still catholic, whether or not I've made confirmation. Not only that, but religion isn't so important to me anyway, and besides that, true religion is in your heart. If you believe, then you are.

Another do now...literally

So, today we're doing this do now about...using the term literal, and what it means. I'd say it means something palpable, something that's there, that you can feel, that exists. It also means actual, as in, no joke. Example; He's going to beat you up...literally. I use the term quite often, and it's a fun term to use. It's really quite fun...literally. I suppose it truly depends on the use of the word. It's also fun to use with sarcasm.
