Reload the gun; pull out the empty cartridge; shove in the new one, quickly; the enemies await around the corner; turn and fire, take aim and shoot; missed, every shot misses; move to the flag and capture; suddenly sniped; Last Stand perk is useless here; push the eject button, this is boring now; pop in another one, grasp the power of freedom as the lights blind us; watch the colors, skip this; I’ve seen it before; starting it up, fingers twitch; X button, then A button, now spin the joystick and smash A and X; HADOUKEN!; move backwards, guard; health gauge lowering; pull both triggers, super move combination; smile as the letters flash on the screen; K.O.; eject this now, I’m bored again; throw in another, feel lightning tingle through my veins; Break free from the Dark Side, and walk in the Light; these troopers stand no chance against me; lift into the air and impale, then shock them and throw them and watch the hilarity ensue; Now I'm troubled breather, father to walker's in the sky; kill my troops, I’m the worst day shift manager ever; Launch shag carpets off their forest bridges; laugh until boredom engulfs me again; eject this once more, and add in another; wander the wastes of the post apocalyptic world; find weapons made of scraps; flaming sword with pilot light and hand brake making said hilt; maul and defeat them, the mutants and ghouls; always carry a bigger gun than the next guy, unless your smaller gun turns them to dust; take on another quest, burden me with more; walk through the ruins of our history, the great headless emancipator, or the memories of Jefferson's memorial; watch as I remove the disk once again; now turn this off, and turn on the next one; the freedom of control as free as my hands; I’m feeling heroic, so I brandish my sword; master of all swords perhaps, evil’s bane guaranteed; the force of three will be mine soon in this ancient kingdom of rule on high; but wait, boredom strikes again; pop in another, hang with animal friends; buying and selling, damn this raccoon loan shark; switch once more, to a classic old friend; run around the galaxy, jumping on mushrooms and turtles; the stars dance and balls of fire cruise around space; brothers in red and green, battle together against turtle dragon and co; jump to the opposite with the next disk; fat plumber of purple and green throws his weight around like a power-house machine; one more time, I switch; the brothers and dragon turtle are here again, with Purple and Green plumber in tow; join with blue hedgehog, fox with gun, female in huge armor, little green dinosaurs, pink puffballs and blue puff knights, and many, many more, in one huge Brawl; I choose one suiting my tastes, for power and epicness; I smile as I reveal my enemies the punch, the punch of a bird of prey; push it, push the B button now; my TV is engulfed in light, then my room, then me; when my vision is restored, I see golden gloves upon my hands; this space is small and filled with tiny lights, and the view out the window is long and winding; I hear a count down in the background, three two one; smash the throttle and grab the wheel, or crash and burn; this is the bird of prey’s wings, his transport; swerve and live!; suddenly wake, lying back on the bed; the intercom is ringing, answer; dinner’s ready, and these games can wait; I’m hungry.

Whip Around; Stories built from Passages
“Those monsters…they search for answers they don’t need to know. These callous monsters seem to multiply, from one, to two, to ten…to one-hundred. But when I took up this blade, I swore to live my life for others, and strive to keep winning so that the people could see and be lifted to fight. These shallow beginnings I’ve gone through, these constant feelings have irritated me. So, I will bring it upon myself to use darkness against evil, and bring stars to the night skies, and bring this evil…back to nothing.”
The dark armor clad man ran towards the swarm of creatures and thought to himself as he unsheathed his sword, gifted to him by the priest;
(I can taste bitter copper…but I feel warm…the evil beats on my heat like a heat wave. This must be what hell feels like…)

Bounty Hunting Space Cowboys?
Cowboy Bebop, a legendary anime with a great story line, amazing cast (pictured from left to right; Faye Valentine (foreground), Jet Black (background), Spike Spiegel (foreground), Ed and Ein (in Ed's arms)) great musical score, amazing animation, a short but amazing story (25 episodes), and of course, a MOVIE. You can look for it on Adult Swim (if they rerun the series AGAIN), or you can buy the series DVD box-set (pictured above). It's a great series, short and with plenty of twists and violence, as well as plenty of thought provokers and things you can relate to real life. I really recommend this to anyone, girl or boy, adult or teenager, any job or profession, and if you want to see a piece of the action, head to youtube or where ever and watch at least the first episode. I promise, if space cowboys and bounty hunting are your thing, you won't be disappointed. And don't think it's all violence, there's plenty of humor and even a few lighter hearted moments. So why not go check it out? Monday, November 17, 2008
Texting; The new language of hands and thumbs
Now then, while I can see how texting is useful for people who need to quickly get a message across and would rather it just get there than have to dial and wait only to have an answering machine pick up, there is still something wrong with it. Texting is missing that sense of actual feeling and personality, which one can hear in a person's voice, and see in the hand written signature of a letter. Using texting it seems like everyone is the same except for a limited amount of mannerisms some people tend to put into their text. This sometimes can even lead to confusion, which might cause a person to respond as they would to person B, but actually respond to person A. This could become quite akward if person B is your lover and person A is your boss.
Finally, there's the patience issue. Some people get very annoyed when someone doesn't reply to their texts, following which, they might text again. This is utterly pointless in my opinion, as what if the person's phone is dead, on silent for some reason, lost, ruined, or simply off like mine is? And what of the radiation caused by cell phones, which could lead (after years of exposure) to disease, mutation, and cancer? Sure, it won't happen in seconds, but over many years it can surely give you cancer at the least. That's why, while I believe it has its uses and positive sides, I believe texting isn't the best way to communicate, if avoidable. Out of electronic communication choices, email would be at the top of my list, where at least it's easiest to type and add your own forms or personality while at least being able to check your spelling and grammar. It's a phone, use it like one.

Bounty Hunting Bird of Prey
Captain Falcon. An awesome character, with a spandex body suit, either blue or purple, a brown belt, a green holster, golden orange gloves, a bright yellow scarf, a HUGE orange collar, a silver buckle, a red helmet with eye covering visor, a golden falcon emblem on the forehead of the helmet, and a fist full of Falcon and Fire. He's a 37 year old racer and bounty hunter. His name with title is Captain Douglas Jay Falcon, and he holds every Grand Prix champion title for the F-Zero series. He's shown up in every installation of Smash Bros with his mighty Falcon Punch and Kick, Raptor Boost, and Falcon Dive. He is a classic character, who, while his games aren't as popular, stands among the likes of Mario, Luigi, Link, Samus, Fox, Sonic, Solid Snake, and many more. His eyes, which are hard to see, are blue. He has a scar over the left side of his face, and he has short brown hair. Look for more infos like this coming here in the future.
